When Noelle was in middle school, she had a big crush on this boy at school named Ray, but he did not seem to notice her. Years later, she reconnected with Ray and after many happy dates, he proposed to her at their favorite Chinese restaurant.

The couple were united in love, in front of 110 family and friends, during their Christmas-themed wedding on December 9th, 2017 in Cranston, R.I. They chose the Cranston Country Club for their venue because they were drawn to the beautiful fireplace, which gave them wonderful Christmas-vibes and the delicious food, included in their event package. It made everything feel very cozy and it was a great nod to this couple’s love of the holiday season. Their goal for their wedding was to have a sort of “Hallmark Holiday Film” vibe with some subtle Disney elements sprinkled throughout.
Noelle’s dreamy dress featured a sweetheart neckline and layered tulle. It is a Casablanca Bridal designed gown, which she found at Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique in Fall River, Mass. With the gorgeous train and her glittering veil, she looked like a beautiful Christmas angel. Her bouquet was white and red, another nod to the holiday season, with baby’s breath sprinkled throughout. Her bridesmaids wore red or gold dresses, which were sweetly matched with sage green pashminas.

To set the mood, the couple chose to highlight the reception space with uplighting in red and green. They had red roses scattered throughout the space as their main flower because Noelle loves “Beauty and the Beast.” Their guestbook was a custom cartoon of the couple, their escort cards were lumps of coal, the favors were ornaments with custom tags, and they served milk and cookies for dessert. Noelle made napkins that looked like giant gift bows and they used a giant wrapped present for their card box. Their head table was also surrounded by festive wrapped gifts. With all the red, green, and gold decorating their venue, it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Noelle’s advice to other members of the Big Bride Club is not to stress out about the small stuff and just to enjoy the whole planning process and especially the day.
Ray’s favorite part of their wedding was being with everyone they love and Noelle enjoyed seeing all their hard work come together. Something about the holidays always warms people’s hearts, and there was so much love with them for their special day.
