Ida and Corey tied the knot under a fiery summer sun on August 11, 2018 at the luxe Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Ga.

Chateau Elan is a winery and resort in nestled in the mountains of north Georgia. It was an easy pick for the couple thanks to their beautiful vistas and their all-inclusive packages. Ida and Corey had 200 friends and family come together to celebrate their wedding and a fair amount of out-of-town guests, which was a logistical challenge. Chateau Elan is a full service resort, which meant that their guests had everything they needed right on the grounds and could just relax and have fun.

Corey and Ida are both very traditional and they have a deep appreciation of everything vintage and old school so they wanted a really classic feel from their wedding day. “Something that was timeless and glamorous at the same time,” explained Ida.

Their personal ceremony was the most important part of the day for the couple. It was very important to both Ida and Corey that the ceremony was sacred and special.

Ida stunned in a form-fitting mermaid silhouette dress by designer Allure Bridals. She procured it from the plus-size wedding boutique, Cherry Blossom Bridal in Washington, DC.
